Do any of you remember June 22nd?? I do. Even though it was so very long ago, I remember it like it was yesterday. I was celebrating the thrill of victory. I had conquered another FOUR POUNDS in my personal CAGE MATCH against my THUTT!!!

GRRRRR!!!!
But alas, I have yet to recreate that momentous feat again. I have only my precious memories to keep me company. It has been THREE WEEKS since I have been able to bid adieu to any fat. Any normal masked fighter would hang his head in shame, but not the AMAZING SOUTHERN FRIED FATTY…..
I choose to focus on my other accomplishments. During my vacation, I was able to get in the SPIN class habit and drink more water. I was able to MAINTAIN my weight even though I might have maybe fallen off the “eating good” wagon this past weekend. I am also still focused on my MINI GOAL of five pounds. Way back on June 22nd (ahhh, good times) I was 3.5 pounds away from my five pound goal:

and today I still am ONLY 3.5 pounds away from my goal. With my new found love of exercise this should be a piece of cake, uhhh rice cakes I mean.
We know that one pound of fat equals 3500 calories. In a previous post, I figured out how much food I have to eat to equal 3 pounds worth of calories. Now it is time to figure out how much activity I have to do to burn 3.5 pounds worth of calories:
3.5 pounds = 12,250 calories
What can I do to burn that many calories??? Thanks to caloriesperhour.com we can find out:

11.5 hours of SPIN class

80 hours of typing

26.5 hours of disco dancing

102.098 hours of kissing
FatHubby needs to PUCKER UP!!
I hear there are places in Thailand where you can do all of these at once….in Jello.
