The other day I was driving back to the office from the grocery store and while I was stopped at an intersection, a hawk with a squirrel in its talons flew over my car. It was only about 10 ft above my car. I have never seen anything like that in person.

Then I drove a few blocks and in the Post Office parking lot there was a man on a Segway “walking” his dog. Again, another thing I have never seen in person before.

So now I’m thinking those were signs that the world will end soon. Except maybe these things are supposed to happen in threes. If only I had seen a 12-toed baby.
